Why Use Open Enterprise Server 2?

NetWare is no longer being supported by Novell, and the OS will soon start falling behind in the ever-changing IT market. What does this mean? It means that in the very near future, everyone currently using of NetWare is going to need a new network OS.

Before you make a decision for your company regarding how to replace NetWare, however, it is important to understand a little bit about what Novell’s new solution – Open Enterprise Server 2.

OES2 is by no means the only option available, but certainly is an ideal solution for anyone currently using NetWare. It is important not only to know what features are being carried over from NetWare to OES2, but also how the process of moving from one the other might affect your business.

Find out what this change from Novell means for your business and why you should’t be too worried in the latest OnsITe video.

Novell ZENworks Quickstart

That Novell ZENworks makes it easy to manage workstations, and provides you with unprecedented control over your business is – at this point – old news. ZEN is a powerful tool that has made the difference for many businesses’ efficiency and workstation consistency, and has seen successful implementation in countless systems.

The problems with ZEN, if there is one, is centered around just how long it takes to get ZEN up and running in your business.

The level of the program’s sophistication means that the process of installing the Desktop Management solution tends to prove to be a a very involved and time consuming process, which can seem daunting. ZEN has to be used seamlessly in your business, and it’s installation can’t be expedited.

Or can it?

Find out how you might be able to enjoy the benefits of a ZEN solution much sooner than you expected in Novacoast’s latest OnsITe video.
